I arrived in Bhutan for the first time, to explore establishing an agricultural business as an FDI project. I was introduced to Sonam early on in this process. She was attentive to what I hoped to do, and knew the FDI process thoroughly. I agreed to hire her as our agent and left to make final preparations. I was impressed with her initiative and resolve to have things in order for my return which resulted in a smooth entry and settlement in the country. She was always punctual at meetings as well as practical and persistent in getting work completed and not daunted by obstacles in the process. I was amazed at her readiness to join us on land search trips, hiking through forests and providing much appreciated cultural guidance in meeting village chiefs and government officials. Now that we are registered and operational we have signed a new contract with ImpactXcel to continue providing professional help in establishing the business. I would highly recommend Sonam and Jigme for any company establishing an FDI in Bhutan.
